Mr. Matar is a Managing Director, Head of Real Estate & Infrastructure at ZCGC where he is responsible for leading both construction management and capital expenditure functions for the firm’s current and prospective portfolio companies. Mr. Matar has extensive experience in all aspects of real estate, construction management, property management, and leasing. Mr. Matar serves on a ZCG portfolio company boards.

Prior to joining ZCGC, Mr. Matar was an Associate Director at Turner and & Townsend New York delivering program management and real estate design/construction management services across the Sports, Leisure, and Hospitality sectors on significant global projects. During his tenure, he led several projects to include, but not limited to, the Algonquin Times Square New York City, the W New York – Union Square, and New York Marriott Downtown. Mr. Matar was recently appointed Turner & Townsend’s Global Key Client Lead for one of the largest global alternative investment management firms across Southeast Asia and the Americas.

Mr. Matar’s 10 + years of experience extends beyond North America, to also include extensive construction/field experience in major Sports projects comprising Qatar’s 2022 FIFA World Cup program.

Mr. Matar holds a Bachelor of Engineering, Civil Engineering from the Lebanese American University and a Masters of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Columbia University.
