Zandro Robel

Mr. Robel is a Senior Vice President, Head of Fund Accounting at ZCG, where he is responsible for investment accounting and financial reporting across the firm.

Prior to joining ZCG, Mr. Robel was Vice President, Controller at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. (“BBH”) for eight years, where he was part of the Fund Finance leadership where he oversaw the accounting, tax and financial reporting process for multiple private equity, private credit, hedge, real estate, hybrid and fund of funds including co-investment vehicles, blocker, JV and SPV entities.  

Prior to BBH, Mr. Robel was Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (“PwC”) where he managed the audits of various private equity, private credit, hedge, fund of funds, endowment fund, management company/GP and a broker-dealer.  Through his thirteen years with PwC, he also worked with their Internal Audit Group where he performed internal audit and SOX compliance work for various companies in different industries.

Mr. Robel began his career with SGV & Co. (“Ernst & Young”) where he was Audit Associate Director leading the audits of various large multinational and publicly listed companies in different industries as well as performed due diligence engagements for mergers and acquisitions and a forensics audit.  He was also the Head of Internal Audit at Panasonic Manufacturing Philippines Corporation where he established the internal audit department and led the conduct of various operations/compliance audits and finance consulting engagements including overseeing the implementation of risk and controls self assessment for the entire Panasonic group of companies in the Philippines.

Mr. Robel holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Santo Tomas, Philippines.  Mr. Robel is a CPA in the state of Virginia.
